Thinnest string for accoustic ive seen is 0.10 at the high e. ghs carries them. Do note that changing string gauge (thickness) should not be done on a whim especially accoustic guitar. What will happen if u use too light a gauge then set up originally is that the neck will then bend backwards. Giving u all sorts of problems.
So if u wanna change the string gauge, ull have to bring the guitar for a set up. Do consider carefully b4 u do.
agreed. .10 is one of the thinnest i've seen around. but though its easier to play, the sound isnt there. stick with the .12's they give you a nice rich sound (unless you have something else in mind).
like beez said "so you use .12's not bad ah, like pro"
donno about the thinest BUT the BEST DAMM accoustic guitar strings I've ever used are the YAMAHA SILVER STRINGS series - get an 11 gauge - nice shimmering tones..
