What is push pull pot in LP for??

I just want to know what is the push pull pot in LP for? to split Humbucker become single coil or to change the phase???Coz I want to modify my epi..anybody know the schematic wiring diagram?

Hi Goldie,

A push-pull pot is actually like your normal pot (volume control, tone control) except that it can be pulled and pushed, to perform a Switching function.

You can think of it as a mini-toggle switch (by pulling up, or pushing it back down) It has connections similar to a toggle switch, so depending on the type of switch On-On-On etc, you could wire it up to perform those fucntions you mentioned (coil-tapping, out-of-phase etc)
