23.1% - Vocal/POP
11.7% - Best Sellection
8.2% - Instrumental
6.6% - Compilation
6.4% - Piano
5.8% - Orchestra
2.7% - Classical
2.4% - Story
1.6% - Dance/Rock/Remix
1% - Concert

*70% black metal/ death metal

Actually...
from seeing what genre of albums does people own,
we can roughly know what type of music they like.

This question is more effective than asking people "what type of music you like?", then they start to think.... but mostly their answer will be influent by the latest album bought (as most recent thing may come into our mind first), which may not be truth.

Thus, The answer of "What Genre of albums do you own?" will always correct.(Unless the person keep changing his preference of music from time to time...)

36 out of 47 is made in Japan.
1 (Project Majestic Mix~A Tribute to Nobuo Uematsu) is from USA.
the remaining is Taiwan bootleg.

I started buyin CDs in 1995 and my taste in music varies with time too.. Have over 800 CDs rite now and come to think of it, I could have gotten more gear with all that I spend on CDs.. But hey its money well spend!

Instead of listin the genre of albums that I owe which frankly is too many, lemme list the genres that I dont owe...

I have yet to purchase a single:
Tamil/Hindi album
Cantopop album
Dangdut/Keroncong/Dondang Sayang album

avant garde/weird music lol: 5%
