what do you do when your picks wear out?

i wanna do like wad sub is doing but i keep losing my best picks. and i dont use my not-best picks. but either way, they eventually get lost.

worst thing, i always lose it at home only to find it months later.. many months later..

when i started out wth guitar, i had this collection of different sized picks, for experimentation purposes. then one day, i lost them all.
haha i was taking out my guitar then i thought,"what the hell? where did they go?!"

then i started with a new collection. i keep them inside an IMPACT mints box. haha

I use Dunlop Ultex 1.0 mm

So far havent wear out, and I play like 2 hours a day..


But my old picks, I throw away...my room is messy enough. Don't need picks to add to the mess

I lose my picks often too. Mainly friends borrow and puts back in their pocket instead of mine. Ha. So yea.

So i went to buy 2 bags(50 ea) of Tortex 1.0mm. (the Jazz III size)

And now, i'm left with a bag only. In a space of 3mths.

Damn those friends..

i use tortex sharps. So the sharp tip get worn off and they become like normal picks.
Where can i buy tortex picks in bulk? Like in a box or something but of the same thickness?

i alternate pick for almost everything but it seems to me.. everytime i finish wearing out one side.. the other side still have some life left.. mainly because my upstrokes aren't as strong as my downstrokes. so... yea.. haha

Tortex do wear down pretty fast.. If only they were as invincible as they are described on dunlop's website. haiz..

How long does it take for u to wear out a tortex pick?Mine seems to last forever, why is that so?
