hi everyone, as per title, what do people mean by single ended amps?(eg epi valve jr). yes, i've done my searching in case some people are wondering. but the results all come out in mumbo jumbo or in diagrams of electrical circuits. i would wanna the meaning in laymen's term as the epiphone website says being single-ended, the epi valve jr sounds more full or whatever...
and about epi valve jr itself, i understand it is full tube, having both preamp and poweramp tubes. how does one set the amount of amplification from either amps(pre and power) since it only has one knob? like say, others have gain knob for preamp and master/vol for poweramp. impossible? *please dont go "hey theunknown if u want set this set that, get other amps, lots of knobs to play" im curious, not going to buy it tomorrow or what*
