there's no fixed dynamics as to how loud ghost notes should be.
but a guideline would be playing ur usual snare hits with rim shots and u can just lightly tap watever u want to be ghost notes.
this way your normal strokes which is now your rim shots would be very distinct from your ghoststrokes which is now your nomal light strokes because of the dynamic levels as well as the resonance.
one such person would be simon phillips. firstly, he's a really loud drummer. moreover, he uses alot of rim shots for his normal strokes, which furthur increases the volume. this way you can play his ghostnotes the way we play our normal notes. this is what i mean when i say that there's no fixed dynamics for ghostnotes. it all depends on how u play or the style of the music.
u can't say things like "oh i should play ghost notes 30% the volume of my normal note" technically, it's understandable. but it makes no sense musically. you really have to feel the music to understand wat is required for the drummer to play, how loud his/her normal strokes and ghostnotes should be.
