What about the Asian Music Market ?

Dear Admin,

First and foremost, I thank you for creating an online community for musicians in Singapore.
I believe it has helped a lot of us to connect with each other.

But even so, I would like to express the need for a dedicated section for Asian music.
It seems to me that in general, a lot of us here are much more interested in English songs (regardless of genres); that people who are more interested in Chinese/Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese/etc. music have become a minority of this forum's users.

Thus, it has become increasingly troublesome to find others who are like us: scarce.
- To find people to form bands with, and discuss songs with -
It is regarding this issue that I want to suggest a dedicated section for people like us, knowing in fact that SOFT is undeniably the biggest online musician's community in Singapore.

I believe this will help a great deal for those who, like me, love J-POP/J-ROCK more than we can say for the usual mainstream English hits.

I understand that most of us have gotten by quite alright but I think that this suggestion will indeed make our lives much more easier.

I will leave you to think about it.

Thanks for your suggestion. Most of the non-instrument specific discussions are in Kopi-tiam ( http://www.soft.com.sg/forum/music-kopi-tiam/ )

Asian music definitely fit right in there.

Maybe you can help out by starting interesting threads there?
