There be lots of pitch correction stuff in modern music it seems... been reading about it...
Oh on a different note, listen to the studio/CD version of Skid Row's 18 and Life, Sebastian Bach, when he first starts singing, he is out of tune a little... pretty cool actually... never expected that kind of raw-ness.

In any case, my benchmark for a band/singer would be to watch a live concert by them......in most cases, it's pretty apparent when it starts to show the inabilities of those.
I don't think Steve Lukather was wrong, swearing in an interview about ProTools and the various plugins of pitch correction and punch-ins done nowadays. I don't look at most of the modern artistes quite the same way i've respected Sinatra or Queen. Disgusting should be the word.
