Warmoth Guitar Parts

Hey people!

Anyone ever purchased guitar part (bodies/necks) directly from Warmoth?

Their parts are so beautiful to a point that I can't resist the temptation from getting it but am afraid of the shipping and stuffs.

Please share some experience for those who've bought it before! Hehehee.

Thanks!

Regards,
Sebastian

From what i remember, if you are to build from scratch the wait time can be quite long. 3 months at least.

I would recommend you to find something you like on the existing stock as you will save a lot time and money.

Shipping is also expensive so it would be better if you can ship more parts together with a friend.

The build quality exceeded my expectations. The neck pocket fits the neck really well but my only regret is choosing the standard thin neck because my preferences have changed and i prefer fatter necks now. Should have also requested for a lighter alder body. But asides from these small issues, it is resonant as an instrument and plays really well after a good setup.

I've tried a couple of Warmoths and the quality has been top notch! It's really good stuff. Don't worry too much about shipping. It'll cost less than an assembled guitar for sure. And I'm sure they'll use a reliable service!

You can also check out MJT. They do really good work and their prices are more competitive IMO. Shipping a complete kit from them cost me about 80USD, and they were incredible guys to work with.

Cheers!

I love the Warmoth conversion 24.75" thick boat neck that I bought some time ago. Goncalo Alves with pau ferro fretboard, compound radius, & 6100 jumbo frets. No sticky glossy necks as the raw wood feels so good! No regrets except that I should have gone for SS frets.

I'm just waiting for the right time to do another build with a 2tek bridge, soloist body, same kind of "raw" neck.
