Hi Forum Readers!
I'm a 23-yr-old casual bass player, currently looking to jam with whoever may be interested. Planning to play some blues rock, hard rock, soul, pop, acid jazz, actually whatever genre is fine as long as we can have fun together.
Basically I'm looking for people to jam with regularly (maybe once every 1 or 2 weeks), and eventually write some original stuff together. For fun. No strings attached. For now, at least. Naturally, the eventual genre of what we're gonna play will depend on the people who are involved.
I was thinking of jamming some songs by the following solo artists/bands:
1. Toto
2. Tower of Power
3. Earth, Wind, and Fire
4. Creedence Clearwater Revival
5. The Beatles
6. Paramore
7. Kansas
8. Cream
9. Led Zeppelin
10. Jamiroquai
11. Tokyo Ska Paradise
12. Joss Stone
13. The Police
14. Stone Temple Pilots
The lineup that I'm looking at is at least the following:
1x/2x vocalists
1x bassist (me)
1x drummer
1x/2x guitarists
1x keyboardist
1x fiddler
Optional: Calling for horn/brass sections too, should any player be interested!
You may notice that the range of genre is very very wide. I'm open to whatever we could agree on, but the thing is, they've got to be fun!
