Ok i really have to admit. I'm camera shy. That's why my first video on youtube was in black.

I have no idea why i did it but i did it in camera. So, this is the most recent image of me you can get.

Anyway, hope you guys like the song. Please do comment. =)

I think the guitar was a little bit out of tune. Guitar-playing is ok but it would be nice if you could add some variation - perhaps some plucking/finger style work to add variation, emphasis and a wee bit of virtuosity into your playing. You don't sound like a very good guitar player and although that is fine as you want to be a singer-songwriter but it will help you a lot if you could add more into your guitar playing.

Singing is good. Nice tone and style. And you did well except for the high/loud parts where you were very pitchy.

Like I said before, you really want to spend more time songwriting - work more on quality than quantity. The song is ok but it won't be a hit cos you'll need to find that x-factor that may or may not be within you. But you'll never know if you're going to rush things.

Cheers & Good Luck!

lovely singing as usual, but WHY YOUR FACE SO STONEY?!?!?! *pokes pokes pokes pokes pokes pokes your face* express~~ :D

but your voice is still damn shiok. is that poor fella behind you trying to sleep? lol.

Decent song you have there :D

But what i really want to say most is creative use of the mic on your headphone...never thought of that before

Rork - I agree. I think it was really late at night and i was trying my best to keep it down and to give at least a decent pitch. Well, about the hit thing, most of my songs aren't really written to be hits; i didn't have that in mind. All i wanted was for peeps to listen to the song, the lyrics and say "Yup, i've been there before.", that kinda thing. I think the word is Easy Listening? I guess. About the guitar part, yup. I keep the guitar rather safe cos i find it hard to concentrate singing while plucking the guitar. I dunno but i find the rhythm rather suitable for the song. >< its easier to sing. lol. but heck, i'll be sure to find ways to improvise. =) And yup, ever since i got to know of this forum, i've been always finding new ways to improve.

Anyway, i've always appreciated your comments (cos they're the most constructive!).

Sage - LOL! I'm a stoner what... well. used to be. but proud to say i've been 2 months sober. My face has enough holes already. Eyes, ears, nose, mouth plus a few more somewhere. Well, honestly, i'm not good with that. Seriously. I'm like really camera shy. >< Fella behind is my younger brother. =p

The rest - Thanks for your comments. =) Its a Fatal1ty headset so the mic's pretty alright. XD

dude, you know this is gonna come, but damn i love your voice! and the guitar, just complements you damn well.. excellent keep making music buddy. you nvr know how many people would love to have the ability to write a song to begin with. all the way!!! :):)

I'm gonna try find that mic headset, I'm sick of recording guitar with a laptop mic in my mouth LOL

Well you can get a cheap one below 30 bucks at any audio shop. =) But of course, i prefer Creative stuff.
