Wah Problem

I don't know whats wrong with my Crybaby From Hell pedal but when I switched it on there would be this continuous "click click click click click click click click " sound. This irritating sound is more pronounced if the gain on my amp is high. Both amp and guitar shouldn't be the problem... The set up is guitar > wah > amp. The wah is powered by 1spot adaptor.

I opened the wah up, but I can't find any abnormalities, such as loose parts.

Experienced wah users please help...

might be your pickup if your using single coils. try it with only the guitar.

Actually, this is quite a common thing among dunlop wahs. dun think you can do anything about it...

Have you tried using batteries?
And if there's no noise, then the problem might be the 1 spot.. :mrgreen:

Come to think of it, i used to have the same problem too ages ago...
But its because of the ceiling light of the house (fluorescent lamp).
Once i've switched that off, the problem stops... :mrgreen:

use batteries, should eliminate this, else its the pcb's fault, are there any cables near it which may cause the classic EMI problem?
