Wacken festival in germany (and the likes)

Hi all

Did a search and found only 1 result which i think i can ask here again.

Has anyone here went backpacking and go see see these kind of festivals and the likes?

Mind sharing your experiences? the $ you spent? the way you told yrself u can finally die peacefully after it was over?


btw there is absolutely no chance bands like ensiferum will get to come here in sg?? just found out they actually went taiwan...zzz

wacken is destroyed already, its not full metal festival anymore.

The current biggest metal fest that I would probably die happy if I went is probably the one with the Big 4 playing. If I'm not wrong it's at Poland, Austria and Czech Rep. I might be wrong abt the countries. Can't imagine going to that man, so epic, even heard Maiden playing some shows. But of course it's all just a pipe dream, no money no talk I guess.
