Hmm.

I have a friend who uses an AD30vt live in a small pub, and sometimes I use that amp when I jam with him. Depending on the situation I may or may not use my pedalboard with the amp, but on either occasion the amp worked beautifully and he's been having it since the series first came out.

I suppose it really is a hit/miss when it comes to such things. It's ultimately one's choice whether to go for it or not, but bottom line is that the amp sounds great with or without pedals (preference for blackface and AC30 amp models respectively).

Fixes to the Valvetronix AD series

Dear Softies,

We would like to offer a solution with regards to the above mentioned problems that some of you may face with the VOX Valvetronix AD series amps.

Do bring down the affected unit to our showroom and let our service department evaluate the problem. If it is found that the inherent problem is a result of the manufacturer's fault, we will fix it free of charge.
