Vox AD30VT, loud enough?

is the AD30VT loud enough to overtake drums very well? will it break when it goes over a certain volume?

i was just wondering...maybe as a practise amp, the AD15VT would be a better choice? it has no difference except the fact that its softer right? And also other than the knob that controls the level of the wattage?

All the effects, sound quality and everything is the same, right?

not really sure eh. i own the amp but i've never tried playing it at extremely high levels. neither have i tired jamming along with a drum set with it. i have a feeling it won't be loud enough

Depends on where the amp is pointed and what amp model you use.

Just fyi, I blew my AD30 speaker running it all the way open before. The amp can put out more power than the speaker can handle.

If this is a long term solution, consider getting a good speaker in there from Eminence. I use the Ramrod.

If you're thinking of using it for jamming or for gigs, would reccomend 50w at least. I have a line6 30w that can get really loud and sounds gd to at home. So when i brought it to play with my church band. It could get loud enough, but then it sounds really small and boxy when placed in comparison to my fender m80.

I eventually brought the 30w home after a month or so btw. Loudness is one thing, sounding big and awesome is another. Especially when playing together with a band.
