I'm updating the first post every moment I browse this thread, so everything's 'magically' updated at the first post and peeps just have to click the thread to see what's new... more convenient than browsing through the pages of replies and copying and pasting..
The reason why I opened this thread was because there was a discussion for a VCH on the vocal estab thread, and the date + attendees were 'on' oredi.
If everyone's changing their mind on this, do you guys want me to take this thread off?
The thing is sweetie.. no one actually 'starts' an event, it's just someone's thoughts of another VCH that spark the idea off, and everyone else just contributes and expands the idea, and somehow planning it along the way. You could check out the 'vocal estab' thread and see how it went
.. that's also how VH1 started off, if you do recall.. all I'm doing is rounding up everyone's ideas in one thread so that the rest of the softies don't have to filter the conversations and just check on the latest plans for the VCH. Let me know if anyone's not cool with this.

Man, the problem is sometimes some of us are lazy and don't bother to check the threads, so just shoot shoot bang bang lor.
I know lah, a bit hard to follow cos the chatter comes too fast too furious, so my and others' updates and findings get lost in all this fracas.
So, it's a good idea lah Sage.
Just like the last time I cooked, I updated the first post in that thread 'The Rise of The Warblers' everytime some details are changed. Just hope the newbies understand the process here.
The thing is after the last two events, we so-called regulars contributed our thoughts on how to improve this thing, even if it's just a vhC - that's why we highlighted the change of venue suggestion, from KTV to karaoke pub but...
Anyway, we old peeps just get along with the flow lah har. We just come and hurray hurray.

ps I see vickomaniac is a perpetual (physical) non-participant although she likes to appear here and there virtually. Vicki - you mentioned your Dad brought you to karaoke and got drunk. That's cool leh! Ask him to join us so that you can finally join us lah!

hmmm pity vicko,
anyways yeah i have to agree with sage's idea of tapau and eat by the sea.. but the problem is what sea? the area under the bridge on the end has been closed off due to the new stadium thats there.. not sure if we can get there from the ferris wheel side.
esplanade is pretty boring with all the young hooligans running around acting tough. (thats why we need vicko)
and on accounts to the SAC, can we get FGL to play the instruments?

I will work on an intro thread soon once I've discussed it with hecklerkoch, our VH vp.
As for practice, just PM me the songs and I'll work on it. I'll figure out the parts impromptu. Is it confirmed that you're going then? I'm rather confused at this point.

Dei....Sorry dah...Surgeon busy today never go on-line. Let's make it simple. The plan is first we go SAC, then Karaoke pub and lastly chill-out.
I have seen that many have keen interest in going to SAC and that is good. But the thing is many may not be able to have a chance to sing. Though some singers are instrumentalist themselves which would be simplier. How about those who can't play the guitar or the piano. So to be fair, we'll go for karaoke session soon after that. Since it's a karaoke pub, we don't need to book any rooms or so. And I'm sure Hecklerkoch knows the right spot for that department. Those who have curfew, can't go back home late, wife waiting, husband waiting, etc. can join us the next time. As far as I'm concern, my Bombay Saphire is waiting for me at one of those karaoke pub. Hehehehe!! Those wanna join can share with me. Hehehehe!!
