Vid of me on youtube...

Okay, first things first.

You must, absolutely must, tune/intonate your guitar.

If its out of tune (which it is) nothing will ever sound good on it.

2nd, when you do vibrato, try using more fingers, like bunching up 2 or more fingers together to handle the vibrato. As it stands now, you vibrato is weak and more of a shiver. You either build up your finger strength or use more fingers. Make it more "obvious" and purposeful, not random warbling of notes.

Finally, you need to get be more confident sounding. You look okay playing it, but the notes are off timing, esp at faster parts.

Well, thats it... take heart, practice well. :)

your upper frets are buzzing really bad. you should have a setup.

hmm really?...oh ok was playing around on my guitar just now realised the fret buzz was very bad :( i screwed up my action when i was changing strings. hmm can anyone tell me how much it would cost for me to get my guitar nicely set up at G77 or something? i've heard of malcolm but i know his prices are *WOW*.

..

Dude one more thing that noone mentioned..Your playing lacks phrasing..Throw in some hammer-ons, pull-offs and stuff..but try to be sparing with them and only accentuate certain notes..if u use them too much ur fretting hand will become lazy. When you listen to solos try and pick out when the guitarist is picking every single note and when his playing sounds more smooth(hammer-ons/pull-offs)..

Firstly.. i applaud for the effort.. tht u dare to try and make mistakes... and also tht u are brave enuff to show pple how u play.. tht is a good thing.. cuz from there pple will give u advice to help u improve.. and for tht i respect u for tht spirit.. keep it up.. and as for ur playing like the others have said.. u need to work on ur dynamics.. which falls under ur basics such as bending into pitch as well as adding vibrato into ur solo to make it more colourful... practice bro.. and i am sure u will be flying away in ur future solos to come.. rock on!!!

Wish i could do that...Seriously!
Don't forget to post videos of your progress dude. Many good guitarists here will help you if you really wanna improve!! :)
