Vga to composite?

Hey guys, quick question, where do I get these kinda cables? Also...does my com have to support VGA to tv? And, will I get NEAR HD like video quality even if I'm using a lousy tv? My com has a HD graphics card.

Comments welcome but constructive please.

I don't think you'll get HD-like quality on a CRT TV. Unless you're referring to an LCD TV with HDCP, then you'll be able to get HD. The cables mean very little other than to transfer the HD signal to the TV and VGA doesn't give out an HD signal. A DVI cable does. That means you need to get a monitor/tv that has HD eventhough your computer has a HD soundcard. Cause I have a computer like that too.

Thanks man, but does my com have to have some TV out capability? Or do I simply plug and play the VGA to composite?

You plan to display your computer through a TV? Well, if that's the case, I think you need to find a VGA to composite cable then (if your TV is CRT or last generation TVs), but if it's LCD TV then you don't have to search for a VGA to composite cable cause most TVs nowadays have VGA input. Or rather, if your computer has an HD graphics card, does it have an HDMI output?

If it has, then just get an HDMI cable, connect to comp and straight to LCD TV.
