very young guitar talents

same here Ikiru...

learn recorder in primary school...some of my friends had learn guitar instead. what a great opportunity to learn theories when they were young.

i've actually watched a documentary abt child prodigies. most of the time these kids are actually outcasts. because they arent like normal kids that go outside to play. they'd rather be indoors practising. hence they have no common topics with other normal kids.

secondly, the brain will rapidly develop once a child hits puberty. this stage is vital to his or her development in like guitar etc. this part i'm not very sure cos i'm no neurophysicist. but it went somethng like during puberty the child will either pursue or leave behind his talent. or something like that.

so theres a risk that these kids, the moment they hit puberty, they throw away their guitars, and start kicking a football or something.. i really cant rmb the details.

go watch nat geo..

Can they throw their talent to me then? ;D lol

But seriously, in the end, it's still about practicing... Imagine how much time the kid spends indoors practicing instead of socializing before he could play a mind blowing song. And while we're in awe here, kids his age might laugh at him for being antisocial...
