Very new to guitar

Would it do if i buy a guitar + POD?
I have my own headphones.

How much's the POD?
actually to be frank,i dont know what that POD does :X ;)

I'm a lefty too, but I play the normal guitar.
Maybe you could try to think of, which hand would u use to hold on to the handle whilist standing on a crowded bus. That will be your master hand, for strum/plucking, and for throwing grenades.

idk if this applies to everyone.

Yeah i agree Acoustics strings are much harder. (some acoustic players filled their saddle so that to level down the strings nearer to the fretboard, thus makes playing easier).

But for starters i personally recommend getting acoustic to train ur finger strength. And also with acoustic you can bring it anywhere. Jam it with friends without the hassle of an Amp(a mini-amp can still be a hassle, trust me lol).
However of course the disadvantage is that acoustic can be a little boring eventually as you can't produce cool effects unlike the electric

Do this for like 6 mths and once u jump to electric guitar you will be like "wah so easy or what!? ".

Well just my 2 cents :D

I'm a lefty and playing lefty guitars. Since you are unsure which hand best suits you, I'd recommend you to start out with a more affordable acoustic guitar first. It not only trains your finger strength, but also in the case that should you find yourself having the inclination to switch your handed-ness, you can always flip the strings on your acoustic and still continue training on that guitar (albeit the intonation may be slightly off). But once you get an electric guitar and wanna change your mind about switching to lefty/righty, it poses more potential issues/problems since it's a more expensive investment and it's definitely more awkward to flip it around to play due to the cutaways, the placement of the knobs, etc.

I'm also another example of a natural left hander playing right-handed guitar.

In my opinion, guitar playing is more about left-right hands coordination, so either way, both your hands gotta work. However there are some advantages to using ur right hand as the strumming/picking hand.

1) Learning curve
If u get somebody to teach you or watch videos to learn, thn its hard to see a right handed player play and thn figuring out ur fingering on ur lefthanded guitar. this is esp. so if u are new to music in general thn you still have to learn t read the beats as well.
However, in my experience, by using the right hand, u give urself and whoever is teaching you an easier way.

2) Guitar availability
Let's say you wanna upgrade your guitar after you get the hang of playing and is determined to progress your interest. It's easier to find right-handed guitars thn left handed ones.

So this is just my penny's worth and i hope you'll get a new guitar soon! xD
