Hi guys, need some help from those who own a firepod.

Am trying to connect my Yamaha Motif XS keyboard to the firepod via the spdif output but there still aint sound coming out at all. Not sure if i have missed out any steps that must be done to make it work.

All i did was to change the clock souce for the firepod from internal to SPDIF (light is still blue)

only one wire, the spdif cable is used to connect the keyboard to the firepod. the wire is connected this way, SPDIF OUT (from keyboard) --> to SPDIF INPUT (from firepod). Bought the parts of the cable from LHS and made it myself.

is that the only thing that must be done? Hope someone out there can really help, much thanks

okay bro. I own a firepod as well. I thought I might suggest something to see if it helps.

Set your CPU settings to LOW. the latency setting should just be kept at default if you ask me. Less strain on system. and uh last but not least... have you checked to see if your DIY cable is working correctly on any other device?
