I wanna know if this is possible with my carvin nomad, so when I get more amps I can save cost and just get the head lol.
I remember reading something about matching impendency of the output, and having to mod the speaker abit, though when I looked at the back of the nomad, The amp is connected to the speaker by this cable soldered to the speaker, plugged into the head, with the impendency switch at 8 ohms.
So in that case, I don't need to mod the speaker and can just plug the thingy into the head at 8 ohms?
And on a side note, is there any odd or funny effects of plugging... say a 1 watt or 5 watt head into a 50 watt speaker?
