i mean who could resist great underground/indie bands at 3/4 buxx per entrance

I actually have a soft spot for DXO after playing a few shows there already.

as a member of the audience, I loved the little waterfront stage at Esplanade, and the powerstage now.

because its free!

i'm not a cheapo la. but a venue like that which is accessible to everyone of all backgrounds gives bands that play there a wider range of audience to reach out to. I wish there were more of such open space venues.

Esplanade Waterfront stage. Lovely backdrop, great sound and close to the audience.

Ark Music Cafe, and Hark Music. Warm and relaxing ambience. Responsive audience. I get a very homely feeling playing at these 2 venues.
