upgradin my guit (pickups)

i am currently using an aria stg-003 guitar and i want to modify the guitar by installin pickups to give my guitar a more powerful and richer sound. Can anyone give me any ideas on wad kind of pickups u shud use as i reli have no clue on wad i shud do. Thanks ppl

I think you might wanna consider getting a new guitar instead of changing pickups, unless the one you have is really to your liking and you wanna keep it for a long time. IMO, it's not really worth it to change pickups on a guitar if the switch is gonna cost more than the guitar itself.

What type of sound are you looking for? The more "edgy" side? Like metal, hardrock/rock. Or the more vintage side, say Blues? jazz?

What is your guitar's pickup configuration? S/S/S?



And also, it depends. If you really like your guitar a lot, you can change it. There'll be a difference for sure. If not, maybe you can consider another guitar?
