Upgrade or buy?

i currently own a GAX-70.

do you guys think its worth upgrading? or should i buy a new (better) guitar?

buy a new one. that way u can have different kinds to suit ur feel. then u can upgrade both and even better! different pups and different tones

hmm.. so wad do u guys recommend i get? im thinking of getting the SA160..or RG350.. but not sure abt the prices

the SA160 is a discontinued model but if swee lee still has it, it'll be about $300+ this friday/ saturday, after the sale disct.

the RG350/ 370 price is available @ the review database.

maybe i should make this known to everyone- SOFT's guitar reviews has an attached list price for your reference 8)

it's a wise upgrade because:

*the SA160 has a different feel than the GAX- the former's neck is not too rounded as the latter's

*the SA160 is a more versatile tone-wise, it has single coil & humbucking option

*the SA160 has a vibrato bridge as oppossed to the GAX's tune-o-matic style unit
