Yea, haven't seen much mention of post-rock here. Post-rock's one of my favourite genres. It's quite the "in" thing in Australia atm. You should move, Plastic. Haha.

Me too! Well, I'm living in Melbourne (as you could probably already tell haha) and yea, I caught them too! So so good! Man... probably my #2 gig after Porcupine Tree. Can't wait till they come back again.

Good call too, Kamelot! Saw Explosions in the Sky in February, and man... it was... mesmerising. Like seriously, couldn't take my eyes off Munaf, and that's not because he was cute or anything. Haha.

Alittle offtopic but you know of places to keep track of post rock gigs? More indie sorta post rock / electronica gigs, like This is your capain speaking. Can't seem to find any in Sydney, caught pivot live though.

PS: is there global gathering in Melbourne?

I know it says OzPROG, but it's really Australia music or progressive music. Jump on the forums there! I'm a frequent poster there. Haha. And yea, Brad gets quite a lot of news (albeit sometimes slower than me... but still!) so it's pretty up-to-date!

And yay! Pivot! They're sweetas! Love their new album! I'm not usually a fan of Electronica but yea. Haha. And damnit! This Is Your Captain Speaking... I missed their gig on Saturday because I was "studying for exams". Ah well...

Mercenary - Consistent band. For fans of Into Eternity. One of my favourites. From Denmark.

Odious Mortem - Their 2nd album, Cryptic Implosion is probably one of the best release in 2007.
