Uncle dancing at King Kong Jane gig

Hi guys, we had a gig at the Esplanade last weekend, and an uncle whom some of you might have seen before started to dance spontaneously during our set.

anyway, he's really sporting for a man his age, and where does he get all that energy from????

ps I went to Funan the other day and saw that the empty space in front of Delifrance had turned into an area for old aunties to dance a la the RC corners? Piang!

Actually a little boy did join in to dance, but only for a while hehe.

I actually went to speak to the uncle after our gig, and he told me in mandarin that he's very enthusiastic about dancing, and used to learn all types of dances. He even said that he was once shown a tribal dance while he was on holiday, which he managed to master within minutes haha.

Whether or not it's the local bands or the uncle himself who gets the popularity vote, I just think it's a great thing that there's such an interesting and spontaneous person like him around. As someone who's had to sing in front of ridiculously unsporting audiences before, I'd gladly let someone like this uncle steal the limelight once in a while =)

This guy has been a constant iconic pressence at tons of local gigs for many years now!

Big respect to him! He remains an enigma to most people though. Perhaps that's the charm of him
