it's been done way far back (like 10 years) when *usually* film students from other countries used to make "spoof" OR "for real,audition" kind of solo/boyband videos to show their "hot-ness" , it's sort of like the stevenlim.net syndrome.

the line "dude, just go look yourself in the mirror and wake up your idea" doesn't work on them, cos when they look in the mirror they don't see their trueselves (well, they claim to) , they see somewhat like a pimped up version of themselves with LCD screens, LED lights and huge assho... I mean, exhaust pipes etc.

in any case everyone has their own... fetish. he's just waiting for newpaper or those tabloid trash chinese newspaper to feature him, then his life is truly complete.

i don't think there's anything surprising.

No. How effective the videos are - for better or worse - is open to everyone's own individual interpretion, perception and varying degrees of open-mindedness.

I merely posted them, and then asked people to state their opinion, either in agreement or otherwise.

If YOU view it as an attempt to 'ridicule', then it is YOUR perception that it is the ONLY accepted reaction to ridicule him, and therefore think I am encouraging it.

I, on the other hand, did not incite any form of ridicule. I stated that I find it disturbing based on my own personal beliefs on what I think 'artistry' should or shouldn't be. I did not, under any circumstance, impose my views onto others and left it up for everyone's own individualistic interpretion.

Hope that clarifies things.

For one thing, I do not understand gay culture, though I am fully accepting of it. There is nothing to be ashamed about in being gay, and I daresay that such an opinion is significantly more open-minded than some other SOFTies here.

Perhaps somebody who has a deeper understanding of the gay culture could enlighten us as to how such videos might appeal to that demographic and change the way people like you - people who see it as an opportunity for others to 'ridicule' - view the appeals of said niche demographic marketing.

In short, I genuinely have no intentions to ridicule. Please read the ending paragraphs of the original post. Thank you.
