U.S. Studios

I saw this new jamming studio called U.S. Studios along Joo Chiat Road. When I checked it out, I loved the place a lot. They had first hand, brand new equipments in a big yet cozy sound proofed room. They even allow for a DIY self recording of your band's playing. For $20.00 per hour (normal jamming, without recording), this is really value for money.

Some of their equipment includes a Pearl Session Custom Maple drumset and a Fender 5 string jazz bass with many other good equipments lined up.

Anyway, I've got the number of the person who runs this studio. If you are interested, just give Boon a call at 91997740.

Having a 5 string bass is cool and I never seen any jamming studio in Singapore having a Pearl Session Custom drumset. I should check out this guy... Sounds interesting..

wah.... but 20 bucks an hour quite steep. 15 bucks an hour in beat merchants playing with an ampeg stack bass amp... can't beat tt =)

i've seen the place, i've played in it :)

all i can say dat, as a drummer, i am very impressed with the pearl session custom drumset found there.. no other jam studio i know has a gd all maple drumset of dat kinda calibre~

the equipment is really brand new, the guits, bass, amps, mics etc~ superb condition as was advertised in the first post.

i'd say.. for the musician who's looking for the best kind of environment with the best tools to play or record in, this is one place worth ur time and money.

ah well, here's my honest opinion but you gotta check it out for yourself to experience it~

peace~

hahah wow, you guys are just right opposite bella luna jam studios. just nice ah, since you don't allow hardcore music and they do. just a walk across. very near my place, will check it out when I'm free.

err just curious but what does U.S. mean, since Urban Studios = U.S. , but U.S. Studios as in Urban Studios Studios?

Smart man... good on you. I wanted a catchy acronim... U.S. Studios is Urban Studio Studios (no 's' for the first studio word)

Thanks. Do drop by. :D

Been there and tried the kit. The kick is amazing, can tell its really well tuned. Powerful thump sound. Sabian XS20s and Pros. I had withdrawal symptoms after returning home to my tama swingstar. The equipment is really great. Epiphone Lespaul standard. A fender strat. And the mentioned fender jazz bass. For those learned in recording etc etc. theres a mackie mixer and you can even record yourself on a cd.

OMG OMG OMG DID I SEE JC AMPS THERE!!
good shit man.
yeah 20 bucks is steep but considering that a JC120 is 1.7k, u rougly estimate how much a JC90 will cost..so don't blame them for having steep rates.
i think its worth the jam!
