Twilight over Tokyo- Night of JRock:: A gig on "9th june" @ Blujaz Cafe 3rd floor

Twilight over Tokyo is a JPop/JRock gig to give fans of Japanese music the opportunity to perform live. If this debue event has a good turnout, I hope to make this a regular monthly event.

The venue is at Blujaz Cafe 3rd floor (Blujaz Cafe), a premier live music venue in Singapore.

No cover charge, you are welcome to arrive at any time. Please do support the venue and buy a drink or food, though. The food tastes good and the drinks have great value!

Bands performing:

Kiseki
(covering songs by Dir En Grey, Gazette, Asian Kung Fu Generation)

Kiseki is a J-Rock band initiated in mid 2008 by Ryo and Rex. In September 2008, they made their debut performance in the Seiransai Festival at Waseda Shibuya High School. Kesh, Shiro and Pen were roped in later and since then, the band has been growing even stronger. They have performed in several events, including the Go Matsuri! Event, Singapore Street Festival : D'J Party, Gakuensai and the recent, Project Breakout. Kiseki’s music influences include the Gazette, Dir en Grey, X Japan and Luna Sea. The band has a couple of originals at hand and is looking into showcasing them in near future.

Pillowphilia
(covering songs from various OSTs and songs by L'Arc En Ciel and Dir En Grey)

Pillowphilia is an upcoming band formed in 2009 by bassist Nic with guitarist Raphael, vocalist Kie and drummer Elijah to fulfill a deep inner need to perform Japanese Rock. The lineup was completed in 2010 with the addition of keyboardist Fang Yi. The band plays a wide range of songs due to the members' varied tastes, from upbeat pop-rock to heavy and emotional metal-influenced rock. Influences include bands like L'Arc En Ciel, Dir En Grey, Luna Sea.

Seventh Night
(Covering songs from Alice Nine and Girugamesh)

Seventh Night was formed in early 2010 with members having the same interest of music and the passion to perform. Members include Sora(Vocal), Mev(Drummer), Dickson(Bassist), Rui(Guitarist), Jonathan(Guitarist). We have been practicing since to get ourselves prepared for this year Singapore StreetFest 2010. Something unique about our band is that we would improvise our songs, be it guitar, drum or vocal to make it sounds more interesting and giving the audience a whole new look to the songs. Our main influences are Gazette, Alice nine, Dir en grey, X japan and many more. Lastly, we are formed to jam, formed to perform and formed for the love for j-rock!

We still have a slot for two more bands at 8pm (half hour slot) and 11pm (half hour or 45 mins). Please email me at composer.of.requiems@gmail.com if you're interested! Send me your band's bio, setlist, how long you guys can play for (e.g. 30 mins, 45 mins) and a recording if possible!
