Tuning going sharp when pressing hard

Hi everyone,

I have a tele with vintage frets.
I'm faced with the issue that when i press my strings harder (even with just a bit more force), the tuning will go sharp. Is this normal?
Or if not can it be fixed by adjusting the saddle? I have the 3 saddle Wilkinson compensated bridge.

this is normal for all guitars... unless you are playing a fretless

When you press harder, you are dragging the string and stretching it. It inevitably sharpens the note. Just be more gentle when you play.

you should start adopting a lighter touch to your playing. nothing to do with the instrument unless the intonation is really out.
