Tube amps dont actually need very much care besides changing the tubes when they wear out and of course biasing when changing power tubes (if the amp requires). Had a Carvin amp for years and never had to do anything with it besides the times my fingers got itchy and bought some JJ tubes.
Just like you say allow it to warm up first before playing, dont pull out tubes when they are hot, perhaps keep in a well ventilated area, and other commonsense things.

Like Victorinox says, mostly its common sense, but take care never to bump it.....Also, I always carry mine gently, without swaying it around...lastly, how long do you warm it up for?
