Thought i should share this piece of fascinating knowledge i received from my trip to China:
There's this tortoise looking creature made of pure Jade in Nanjing where i visited, that was built in memory of an emperor. 10 days before the Tsunami, there was water coming down from the left eye, all the way dripping to the belly. Prior to the disaster, people were very fascinated. In fact, it was such a phenomenon that live broadcasts were on TV and foreign experts were invited to view it. I, myself, recalled seeing it on Channel U's News. Nanjing is known to have the best "feng-shui" in China, and Chinese and foreign "feng-shui" masters were called in when there was no scientific explanation for the "tears" of the tortoise. As i learnt in china, natural jade do not absorb any fluid of any sorts, including water. So there was no scientific explanation for the water to flow out of the jade tortoise. One of the "feng-shui" master concluded that there was a huge presence of the Water essence in feng-shui teachings along the coast of Nanjing, and there's a geographical path that the shape of Nanjing takes. Upon inspecting satellite images, it was at the very origin of the Tsunami that coincided with the path the feng-shui masters predicted. There were video footages and CNN coverage footages at the museum i visited, so i was rather intrigued and stunned. 10 days after tears first rolled down the tortoise's eyes, which was also the first day of the tsunami, tears stopped dripping down from the tortoise's eyes, and what is left behind is a water marking. It's still there.. go google it. It's the Ming Xiao Ling Tomb in Nanjing.
Food for thought..
