Trying without buying... where's the best?

From our point of view

We're pretty much open to people trying out gear without obligation to buy.

No worries. We'll definitely try our best to serve you to the best of our ability.

Thanks.

to the threadstarter...u are welcomed to drop by my place to have a go at a gibson if u want to...u can also try my strat..haha

maestro guitar and zen guitarworks have good service!

once i went there to collect my serviced bass, the salesperson literally "forced" me to try some of the basses on display there. now that's what i call excellent customer service. of course, the shop was relatively empty, and the salesperson was incidentally a bassist too. :)

Aiya... there's no big deal. just go to any store, tell them that you are looking for a guitar and would like to try one, tell the sales person what you are looking for, be polite, and they'll help you out.

just go in talk cock but must be polite but not to extent until puppy eyes la.then point point at the guitar you want.then try oout.

my experience at Blackwood was that the sales person approached me and asked me to try out a guitar when i didnt want to.hahaha.

I had a very good experience at the Maestro shop a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it looked like I wanted to buy but I just wanted to play a Maestro - to see what it was all about. AND I have a brother who wants to buy one. So I didn't feel all that bad giving it a go over there.

The salespeople were great and very knowledgeable. And it's a bonus when they complement on your playing. :-D
