On luther classifieds, there is a Schaller Floyd Rose for sale. I have contacted the buyer and he actually qouted a very reasonable amount for a new-in-box item that retails for $375.
I was considering the trem for myself if it had a shorter than 41mm trem block (to fit my Sabre properly) but it does not... it has the 41mm trem block.
If you want a solid upgrade that is a direct fit, here's your chance. You wouldn't regret it... better tuning stability. trem feel and overall improvement in TONE.
For S series users with the TRS, this trem will be a direct fit too, however, the trem block will stick out of the bottom of the guitar. Its minor but you can't cover the cavity.
For RG owners, a good chance its a direct fit, no nothing to do... but note, due to manufacturing tolerences, you might get the same problem as the S series but to a much lesser scale, which IMO, is negligible.
