Trivium's new album will be out in all good music stores on the 30th.

It's a nice album, and finally.....Matt Heafy is back with the screaming and goring. I kinda missed it when The Crusade was released after Ascendancy.

though so when he said that.trivium aint like silverstein or some shitty emo bands(extracted from trivium's scuzz interview)

on topic = im hyped up on this album.

hopefully they retain their trivium sound rather than trying to copy or imitate the great metallica.

they didn't mention a world wide release, but im sure it will be since they released ascendancy here in 2005.

dir - trivium's not screamo. they're more of thrash metal/thrash-core.

Dime - the crusade was definetly a metallica album. shogun's the thrashiest shit you will ever hear.

i'm listening to Shogun now. instrumentation wise it's still Trivium, i actually don't like it when he switches to clean singing. i much prefer it when he sings in a harsher vocal style.

i get alot of hate for listening to them though, from "pure metal fans".

also i wish i have the ability to separate person from music because sometimes i watch Heafy's interview, cannot help but not like it. he talks in a way that's not quite nice.

i like this band but sometimes they do things that sort of put me off.

heard the songs.somehow they kinda retain some the crusade-ness while adding the ascendancy kinda punch into the riffs.

something new plus they have random breakdowns now and then in their songs and not forgetting the shredding.
