treble problems

hi all ;) , how can I stop the muddy sound that my guitar is producing? The treble response and sustain is really, really poor, but the bass is coming out very loud and clear. Is it something called a ''treble bleed"? can i fix it by myself?:confused:

get a treble booster pedal..brian may from queen uses it for solos.maybe its ur pickup...but i think it may be your intonation or something like that...bring it to beez..say charles recommended you..haha..beez-97732633.

bring the geetar to a geetar tech and have them check on it. Tell them the problem you faced and see what they say and able to help

Treble bleed is not a syndrome nor problem. The world simply means "treble coming through"
In geetar context, usually it means a modification done, where a capacitor is solder across the vol pot to retain treble when turning down the volume.

Without having someone to check thru your guitar and identifing/knowing the actual problem(pickup related, amp related, setting related etc). Its ineffective to randomly find a term or mod(online) to try on the guitar and hopping it will work, without knowing whats the actual problem.

Firstly what is your set up like

There's definitely nothing wrong with the amp i'm using. Because i've tried other guitars on it too.:???: the treble doesn't sound even if the eq was tweaked to the max. haha, beez's shop is so faraway! looks like i've to go there ya?
