Transformation From Squier To Fender

Hi Softies!

I Just Had This Idea, Its To Replace Everything On My Vintage Modified Squier P Bass (Neck, Bridge, Pickups). I'll Be Getting A Fender Jazz Neck, Badass II Bass Bridge (String Thru) And A Seymour Duncan Quater Pound. Do You Think It's Better Then Getting A New Fender? Cause I've No Problems With The Body, And I Kinda Prefer A Jazz Neck To A P Neck, But I Like P Pickups Over Jazz Pickups And My Bridge Is Kinda Rusty And Doesnt look As Nice, Pickups And Rusty Too. So What Do You Guys Think? And Do You Know How Much Would It Cost Me To Get All The Parts And Sent My Bass For Its Wood Surgery?

Any Help Would Be Nice :D

Thanks For Reading! Thanks!

Cheers- Corny!

That's a bad idea. The amount of work done will cost more than getting a Fender.

+1, and if the quality of the wood used in your bass is not the of the same level of a Fender bass, be it MIM, MIJ or MIA, the resonance would be completely different and it would never be on par
