hey all, just wanna share my experience regarding this pickup...i was dying to change the pickups on my squire strat...the stock ones doesn't sound like my friends's fender.i was hoping to get some fender cs 69 pickups but they damn hell expensive. so was browsing the web for other alternatives.came across these pickups....i totally overlooked it,must be some crappy parts made in china. but after some research,i found out these pickups are actually good....all of the reviews are positive.so i decided to get one....the TRS-1 pure vintage.cost me only $150 for the set(s-s-s). installed it on my guitar and magic happened. its totally better than i expected...the sparkling highs with the clarity.in fact it was better than my friends cs 69 pickups...its low output though,as im a fan of david gilmour,i don't mind.in fact,it really enhanced my tone..my advise to the strat people out there finding pickups, try it out. for those prefer hotter pickups, theres other types as well....this pickups is underated compared to DiMarzio, seymourduncan, emgs etc...

I installed a set of Hot Classics on my old Tele once, really great sound for the price. The Alnico IV Classic humbuckers are quite well received as well. Think of it as a set of Bareknuckle Mules on a budget.

Awesome stuff man. These pickups have their own distinctive character. When I say distinctive, it really stands out from the bunch. Using a set on my Fender CS 1960 RI. Yes, I actually replaced a set of 57/62 CS Reissue pickups for some pickups made in China. That move alone speaks for itself.
