Tone refinements- which would you get?

can use for home recording also ma.... but really, amps prob hav ethe most effect on tone.

IMO amp>guitar>pedals>cables>speaker>room acoustics? :lol:

I wld get an amp. Esp something that is portable yet still kick ass!!! Cuz by then i wld have a consistent sound that i want, rather than wasting time tweaking my pedal to suit the amps at dif location. N get pissed when i cant find a gd sound lol, like the whole band doing fine except with a guitar with sore throat!!!

Found amps to be v impt in my set up, most difference too. A gd amp, just makes u dont wanna put down the guitar n keep playing. Esp on cleans, its kinda like as tho u just change strings, n there is like new life hehe.
