Hey folks, i've been looking to get a new amp, a tube one this time. i already own a jc 120 so my cleans are pretty much covered.
i'm pretty much set on lookin for an amp that can give me that raw, organic distortion/overdrive without any pedal between em, just the way i like it. tones that can roughly bring me back to the crunch of the mid 80's all the way to the modern chugs of today
i've been looking at a couple of bugera amps, more specifically the 6262 or the 6260,they've got rave reviews.
was also considering the THD series of amp heads like the bi valve and uni valve.
and i was thinking of pairing em up with either a 2x12 marshall cab or a 2x12 THD cab.
which should i go for? as far as i know, the bugera amps have only one dealer in singapore and i'm gonna give em a ring for quotes.
would appreciate it if folks that have used the various amps like the THD or bugera can give some feed back.
i've got a budget of 3k tops which will include both the head and the cab. so if any other amp that might fall into this classification, just let me know too =)
