Timbre sr200 or craftsman st120

I am personally going for the craftsman honey burst strat if there is a citymusic sale...

both are incredible, but i prefer the craftsman st120 because of the honey burst...And seriously, i've already tried it twice and they are extremely well built with good quality wood and everything!

Most of all, i love the neck on those craftsman strats...they are quite thick and rounded, just like my acoustic which i love...and such necks suit me perfectly :D

Its really just self preference..Honestly, go try both...both shops have amazing stuff and you'll be able to try the guitars without any problems!

EDIT: And with the sale, i'll have enough money to fit in a set of giovanni pups into the strat...and that'll definitely play heavenly..

The only problem i find with the st120 is that the pups are a tad weak, as compared to the timbre strat...If you aren't willing to swap pups, then you should go for the timbre...

you COULD bump up your budget to 400 and there's the LTD ST203. Tried it out, not THAT stratty but still stratty... Do I make sense?

not that Stratty? i play it almost every day- it's very stratty, just that the pickup voicing isn't Fender-ish, that's what people would lookout for.

im planning to buy the sr200 with vox pathfinder 15r is it a good choice for blues and rock stuff? and is sv gonna have any end of year sales or something??

sorry but just wanted to ask.... how would the LTD guitar compare to Swing?

best to try both yourself then decide accordingly. the LTD might have some relic cosmetics in there but that won't win the playability & tone considerations.
