now u understand wat i meant, Ok lah got a few things may need to changem like tuner machine heads, mine is not v gd, n the switch blade. Also the pot works kinda like a 500k pot, cuz of the way the vol increase n decrease.

The stock pup is v v hot!!! Nice n clean, but u lack the quacj n the honk that u wld expect from a strat, I changed the pups, more warm n definition. But u can make do with the stock ones.

Enjoy ur guitar man!!!

to Keith.
Nah, what for testing samick..?! no point..
Timbre is like a Jap fender, and threw the squeir affinity, which is 50 bucks more ex, 99999miles behind it. the Affinity sound like a 100+ guitar compared to timbre.

omg omg!

Thanks for all ur suggestion! TIMBRE! Definitely, abosutely 200% the best budget guitar ever. and now i dont think its budget!

The best brother of fender!

Im not sure if can change the neck, i am thinking about it too, since i saw a fender one on buy/sell. for 200 bucks i think.

maple fret board?
U want to change the whole neck? that will be quite costly i guess. the original neck is okay, only the finish and wood not so fine. but playability is perfectly okay.

kenbellston: Haha, changing the neck for Allparts Licensed Fender Necks will still make it cheaper than MIM/MIJ Fender Strats 1sthand. But that is a waste of money la hahaha.

haha, yeah, i know that...

maybe not necessary a fender neck, i will look out for necks.

a maple one, and look fine and feel smooth is good enough.

Any one knows how much will be the installation fee for changing neck?
