I just bought it from Swee Lee yesterday and it has given me several problems after using it on Garage Band.

1) Could only pick up right channel !! Left channel almost unaudible.
2) The software driver could not work !! Been browsing the FAQ and Support site but to no avail.
3) Hiss detected even in my damn silent room.

Conclusion: Gonna get an exchange today !

microphone usually record to 1 channel since it is regarded as a solo instrument.

what is the software driver supposed to do?

hiss ... tricky issue. try to unplug the mic and record. this is to test if the noise is a software problem. if the recorded material is zero signal (no hiss) then we move on to the next test.

plug in the mic, set the input gain to zero. record. if the signal is zero (no hiss), we move on to the next test.

set the input gain to 25%. record. if signal is zero, move on to next test.

increase the gain until there's hiss.

if you are able to come this far, let me know and we can troubleshoot further.
