A little curious though, why is the DJ set right in the middle of the bands? Should give her some leeway to decide how long she wants to spin & how late.. As far as I know, for other indie DJ events (eg, Poptart, BEAT, Hang the DJ) they do that for these reasons. Or issit too late to make changes to the set timings?

But anyway I've thought of placing Holly last too but because the event would end at 11 sharp, I was afraid that if she were to be the last she might have less then even an hour to spin (if the bands overrun) and she can't deicde how long and late she wants to spin because after 11 it's home's own event which is trance.
Holly's set would also serve as a break in between the long list of bands

I think the DJ set should be last as it has been for Beat! or Interpop but then again, if she serves as a break time intermission thing, i guess its good for people to take a chill and puff...outside.

Now that you've explained the situation, I can see your point. It would be REALLY bad if the DJ set's only left with whatever measly time left before 11pm due to bands overshooting their slots.
But THEN, I'm wondering how would the crowd respond. From what I know, SG folks take daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamnnnnnnn long to get going one. :roll: Would they all be just starting to warm up & about to groove but then-
"Err, than yewk, that's the end of the DJ set. Next up is _ (name of band) _ ."
Just some input, hope I don't come across sounding too harsh..
