The Killers in concert! In Singapore!

It’s a sunny morning here in Dubai, and I was doing usual morning routine – ablutions, email, breakfast (not always in that order) - when I saw this email that said The Killers will be in town! That’s in Singapore, and not Dubai, of course.

Yes, Live Nation is bringing in the guys who brought you Mr Brightside, Human, etc, etc, etc…

When? Jan 24, 2010.

Where? Singapore Indoor Stadium – like really, you were expecting somewhere else?

“We have been overwhelmed by the numerous requests by both the media and fans to bring The Killers in ever since they first came out and we are glad to be able to pull this one off for all The Killers fans,” said Luke Hede, Live Nation’s veep of international promotions – Asia.

Yay, Luke!

This is the first time that The Killers will be in Singapore, so let’s give them a rousing Singapore welcome! (Gee, don’t I sound like some National Day pep?)

Tickets from $128 to $168 go on sale Nov 23 at Sistic outlets.

I would caution that not everything you read in the papers is always accurate (blogs less so, haha) but in this case, yup, I received the news directly from the organisers themselves!

but if any of you are still unsure. Head over to the O2 website. There are no shows slated there for January.

Wah, almost all tickets sold out!!! I badly want the standing area..... now at this time (23rd Nov 10.49pm), Sistic website shows that only
CAT 3 $148, CAT 4 $128, n CAT 5 $88 available....

but the view from this CATs are quite far, at least for me.
booking only started this morning... should have woken up earlier.

Actually it's normal for the ticket sold out. It only happens here recently because of more popular bands coming to town (but where's The Mars Volta!? I've been waiting for them to come since 2005 ).
take a look at overseas. Glastonbury Festivals '10 tickets were grab within 9 hours. yeah yeah yeahs UK tours is playing full house in every gigs. Shows that we are music lover even though we're little red dot.
Oh well, maybe i'll just settle for CAT 5 seat. hopefully they'll perform alot from their first album, hot fuss which is my favourite album and surely bring back alot of memories from 04-05' :mrgreen:
