Hey bro, the hanger is pretty cool as guitar can be displayed anywhere and any position. Some issues that I would like to raise are:
1. more holes need to be drilled on the wall and
2. might need to redrill wall or replace hanger if owner change different types of guitars.

Thanks!

The Hanger needs 3x 7mm holes, they really are easy to fill afterwards.

I found that to do this properly it couldn't be universal. But hey there's no reason to change guitars, get them all up there ;)

Thanks loads!

Hi Woodie,

I would say it's a pretty neat idea. Here's my feedback.

Positive:
-I like the idea of it being small and transparent
-Able to hang on ceiling? Damn that's cool!
-I guess it won't swing like traditional guitar wall hanger
-Nice photo, esp those with the chick ;D

Negative:
-Drilling 6x7mm hole for a pair of guitar hanger could be real work.
-

Suggestions:
-I hope this is workable for various types of guitar, example hollowbody, acoustics and electric with steep headstock tilt backwards like Gibson. Maybe you could come up with various versions.
-Is a installation guide included? Like a paper plan? Otherwise it could be quite hard to get accurate measurements for drilling. I'm sure if it's off alignment, it means even more work and frustration to get it right.
-Well if there is a quick mounting and release way, it'll be a real deal!

Hey thanks for the feedback!

The hangers only need 3 holes (2 on the bottom, one at the top).

We have models for all guitars with a narrow body, the acoustic model is out in January and works on a slightly different principle.

It's really easy to install and full instructions come with the kit.

The bottom bracket is just put on at a rough angle then you place the guitar in and mark the top bracket hole with a pencil. Then that's it, fix them.

We did a little video with our friend Phil who had never even seen the hanger. He did it in a few minutes (and we deliberately gave him a screwdriver with a flat battery )

It's really easy.

The pictures are quite cool aren't they!!!!

Thanks again!

Great idea!!

Well at least this kind of wall-hanger doesn't put stress on the neck of the guitar unlike those found in the market, currently. ;)

But material-wise used? Acrylic-plastic kind? Any study or refrence to the load it can carry?

Anw, great piece of work, guys!

Thanks for all your help guys!

As far as price goes the Hanger includes post and packaging anywhere in the world and it's not manufactured on a production line it's manufactured locally by us so it's really good quality all of the time.

It's high strength poly-carbonate and would easily hold a 10 kilo guitar (which I don't think there is one). Tensile capacity is tested above 100 kilo.

The screws and plugs in the pack will hold in excess of 12 kilos.

To sum up, the wall would give before the brackets would :D

Thanks everyone, this is really helpful

Thanks for all your feed back

I wonder if I could ask a few questions purely for marketing purposes..

  • Why did some of you not buy the hanger?
  • Do you think that the website shows that the Hanger is a high quality made in the UK product enough?
  • Would that make a difference?
  • Is it made clear enough that we ship the product anywhere in the world free?
  • Does that make a difference?

Thanks again for all your help.

Those questions are pretty easy to answer I would think.

1) Wall hangers don't appeal very much to me because I don't really have to display my guitars to anyone in my room, plus I prefer keeping them in their hardcases where they'd be a lot less prone to accidents and oxidation.

2) Does it say that anywhere? Didn't really notice.

3) Of course it'll make a difference! No matter what people say, there's always a bias when considering the origins of a product, and people tend to think that a product made in the US or Europe or Japan is superior to Thailand or China made stuff, even if it's not always true. It just makes a product that much more appealing.

4) Same as (2). Seriously a huge banner that says "FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING" is bound to get you some customers. It's a big factor!

5) Of course! Read (4).

Brilliant!!!!

To be fair, you guys on this forum have been more helpful than any other forums accross the web!

Thanks Singapore!

(ps. The website is being updated with your changes now!!)
