do share which 7string you own + engage in 7string talk...

i'm actually more interested to know which strings you are using... any one has an incliniation for a 9-52 set?

Although I don't own a 7-string, I really desire one.

9-52... 52 for low B is definitely too loose. I have tried it.

agree- i prefer 9-54, just gave the 9-52 set a try...

52 is definitely too loose. I'm using a 52 for my 6 string tuned drop-D.

I'm on a 56 for the 7 string.

i actually use the SIT strings from Davis, they are 10-58s. I play in Bb standard, and I switched to Ab standard once in a while.

good gauge for me, I also realised that the 58 in this case is denser and tighter than a warwick 65 gauge bass string, louder and more pronounced, allowing me to go down to F# on 25.5 inches.

sadly, i don't play seven strings yet, I just write the songs on two different guitars, one in Bb another standard.

but dont DR have that corrosion-protection packet? complain if it rusts! I dont own a 7 string yet however i do play to get an ibanez one when i finally have my desired 6th string first. John petrucci here i come.

Noteworthy: I read that the guitar shown in 2nd pic that is posted by gjkung has a significantly narrower neck profile even when compared to Ibanez RG1527. But not available locally haha.

regarding the neck profile, isn't it the otherway round? I can't imagine a neck that thin being available at $600 USD, if so it'd be unstable as hell

anyway, Marksman, I think the thinner one is the wizard 7, the thicker one is too rounded to be an RG7 neck.

the carvin has an air norton 7 in the neck and blaze custom in bridge now.

I'm using d'addario 10-59, very nice
