Yaloh..we can custom made our own....

You know lah...I rear birds one lah...Those Bamboo sticks what size you want can make one. My friend import their own sticks, somemore got special tools to make the stick diameter to whatever size you want (you choose lah)...but you DIY yourself using their special-tools...

But their special tools cannot make Drum-Sticks lah..Kekekeke :lol: If not I make liao.

For me, I recently got a pair of vic firth 303 rutes, quite satisfied with these.

but seriously wads the dif between hot rods and that? it just he bamboo thickness right? wads the difference wif the sound? never tried the thunder rods before...

Well, if you believe sticks made out of different
-material
-thickness

will result in different sounds, then the same will apply to rutes as well. Even drums for that matter.

Checking that page, I realised VF has a Steve Smith Tala wand made of bamboo as well. Until somebody has tried, I don't think any of us can comment on what the difference is, but we can be quite sure it's different.
