actually, i quite like the tele's neck pickup... imo, it sounds very good if you are playing the first 3 strings and the higher frets... (in high gain, like tremolo pick a lil bit..)

I get what u mean... especially when u strum with a bit of muting... sounds funk rockish...

But I prefer the middle position for clean rhythm tone, more warmth. Then again, it varies between pickups, body and neck materials.

yeah.. haha. I didn't really expect the neck pup to handle gain so well.. hhaha
